Ginger is an orange abstract painting achieved by a method of pour painting. As part of my new Colours Of The Wind collection, Ginger is a painting packed with emotions.

It features a fiery cocktail of stunning shades of orange, red and yellow. The leading colour orange is often used to draw attention. That's what makes it perfect for a living room, kitchen or office, where you need to feel motivated and feel the positive vibes it creates.

Invite this happy painting to your home and turn it into a focal point of your interiors.

*Please mind the painting is sold without the frame. I displayed my artwork framed so you can imagine it better in your own home.

The meaning of this art piece:

You might remember Pocahontas signing the famous words:

“You can own the Earth and still
All you’ll own is Earth until
You can paint with all the colours of the wind.”

To me, painting with the colours of the wind means sharing positivity with people around me and doing what I can to change the planet.

Orange is a dynamic colour that is quite rare compared to its warm counterparts–yellow and red. It's achieved by photosynthetic pigments. These pigments convert the light energy from the sun into chemical energy for the plants' growth. Place Ginger in a well-lit room and she'll thank you by spreading the good energy around the house.

Conversation starter:

Did you know that apparently Frank Sinatra once said that “Orange is the happiest colour.” Artist Wassily Kandinsky described orange as “red brought nearer to humanity by yellow.”

Orange is a sacred colour in many Eastern religions. Hindu and Buddhist monks wear orange robes, and in Hinduism, orange represents fire and therefore purity; impurities are burned in the fire.
